Parkville High Network Projects

Parkville Network Projects, 2017-2018

  • 16 families benefitted from the Adopt a Family Holiday Program
  • “The Parkville Pantry” created by acquiring/organizing space & conducting food and toiletry drives and ongoing donations
  • $750 Gift cards distributed for Thanksgiving dinners
  • Toiletry kits, grocery cards, digital thermometers & food bags distributed to homeless students and others in great need
  • 250 deodorants provided to PE Office; toiletry kits for athletic teams
  • Coats & shoes provided for homeless students
  • Funding for academic field trips through AVID program
  • 10 school offices stocked with food; toiletries & school supplies in key offices
  • Backpacks and school supplies for new students and ESOL students in need
  • $1000 in grocery cards to families in great need for Spring Break
  • Food, personal care items, and sunscreen, as requested by staff, distributed to students, including sports teams after school (athletes eating an early lunch do not eat for 5-7 hours before practice begins, and longer for away games)
